WEY / THE WEBSITE PROCESS
What we agree before building
Before design starts, we agree on the pages, content responsibilities, required features, integrations and review rounds. That keeps the design connected to a real scope and avoids shaping a page around a feature that has not been discussed. Feedback is most useful when it relates to the agreed audience and goals, rather than preference alone.
During development, we check the important paths through the site: navigation, enquiry actions and any agreed booking or commerce steps. We review layouts on phones and larger screens, then resolve the details that affect legibility and use. The balance of design and development work depends on the project.
Launch preparation is specific to the agreed build. If domain connection, analytics access, content handover or ongoing support is included, responsibilities are clarified before launch. The process ends with the agreed website ready to use and a clear handover for the items included in the brief.
